All of the concrete results

Now that we have finished our concrete tests the results are in!

Our first block was the strongest holding up to 8000 pounds per square inch (PSI). I think we used a bit to much concrete because it held more PSI than our other blocks. The graph below is how the PSI went up.

 The second block was weakest. it crumbled at 4000 PSI. This lower PSI resistance or lower strength is most likely because there was too much water in the concrete mixture. We also added too much motor oil which also weakened the concrete. Graph 2 shows this.
The third and final block was reinforced with metal rods in triangle shapes inside the concrete. This worked a lot better than the second block mostly because of the rods in the concrete. Interestingly, the reinforced block was not as strong as the first block (which held 8000 PSI) and this one getting 6000 which means that more concrete might be better than  metal rods. The graph shows the increce
